The Medical Complaints and Investigation Section is responsible for investigating medical complaints and judicial assignments regarding medical errors and the disciplinary accountability for any medical error or violation of the law regulating the practice of health professions or the professional code of ethics in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In addition, the section also investigates adverse events reported to NHRA by healthcare providers and facilities. All complaints are handled with the utmost confidentiality and equal consideration, in accordance with NHRA rules and regulations. Complaints alleging error/negligence involving death or serious harm, and those posing an immediate threat to public health or safety, are given priority.
